PoolHouse
Terms of Use
The proposed terms for accessing PoolHouse, creating an account, organizing free pools, and using Paigow Football.
Draft updated October 5, 2026
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms govern PoolHouse websites, mobile applications, Paigow Football, pool-management tools, and related services (the “Services”). “PoolHouse,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator. Questions may be sent to anthony@ai-im.ai.
When final terms become effective, using the Services or creating an account after the effective date will constitute acceptance. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
The Services are intended for people who are at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. You may use the Services only where doing so is lawful and are responsible for laws that apply where you are located.
PoolHouse may restrict a feature, account, contest format, or geographic area when reasonably necessary for safety, integrity, legal, platform, or operational reasons.
3. Free-to-play boundary
Under the proposed launch model, Paigow Football will be offered as a free social game using points or non-cash units. PoolHouse will not accept Paigow entry fees, maintain player gambling balances, hold prize pools, transmit stakes, pay cash winnings, or authorize users to collect a percentage of player pots.
Do not use the Services to organize, record, promote, or settle an unlawful wager. PoolHouse does not endorse private side bets or external cash settlement. A future paid product, if any, will use separate terms and be offered only after required approvals.
4. Accounts and security
Provide accurate account information, maintain one account for your own use, protect your credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.
Your public Player ID and display name may be visible to other players. You may change them in your profile. You may update your email or password, sign out, or request permanent account deletion through Account Settings.
5. Commissioners and participants
A commissioner configures and invites participants to a pool. Commissioners must accurately communicate the format and may not misrepresent PoolHouse, alter results, harass participants, collect unlawful stakes, or use PoolHouse for prohibited activity.
Participants must submit their own picks. Account sharing, collusion, result manipulation, exploiting defects, automated entry, bypassing locks, and interference with another user are prohibited.
6. Game rules and data
The applicable Official Rules, scoring version, pool configuration, and displayed lock behavior govern play. Third-party schedules, odds, spreads, and scores may be delayed, incomplete, or corrected. PoolHouse may correct an obvious data or grading error and preserve an audit record when practical.
No result is guaranteed until relevant games are final and grading completes. The Official Rules address postponed, cancelled, abandoned, rescheduled, and incorrectly listed games.
7. PoolHouse software purchases
PoolHouse may charge a commissioner for software features or pool-management capacity. Those purchases are service fees and are not player entry fees, stakes, deposits, or prize contributions. Stripe or another provider may process an eligible purchase under its own terms and privacy notice.
Prices and refund terms will be shown before checkout. Except where law requires otherwise, completed digital-service purchases are non-refundable after the purchased feature has been used.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use the Services to break the law, threaten or abuse others, impersonate a person, scrape private data, distribute malware, probe security, evade controls, send spam, infringe rights, or disrupt the Services. Community features are also governed by the Community Standards.
9. Ownership and feedback
PoolHouse and its licensors own the Services, software, designs, and branding, excluding content you lawfully provide. You grant PoolHouse a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit your submitted information as needed to operate the Services.
If you submit feedback or ideas, PoolHouse may use them without restriction or compensation, while handling personal information under the Privacy Notice.
10. Availability and changes
The Services may be changed, suspended, or interrupted. PoolHouse does not promise uninterrupted availability, that third-party sports data will always be accurate, or that every submitted pick can be recovered after an outage. Updated terms will identify their revised date.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” PoolHouse disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PoolHouse is not responsible for private arrangements between users or decisions made from displayed sports information.
To the extent permitted by law, PoolHouse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, or losses from unauthorized third-party conduct. Final limitation language and any monetary cap require attorney approval.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
PoolHouse may investigate, limit, suspend, or terminate access for suspected fraud, abuse, safety risk, legal exposure, rule violations, or harm. You may stop using the Services and delete your account through Account Settings.
Some records may be retained when required for security, fraud prevention, transaction records, dispute resolution, or law.
13. Questions and disputes
Contact anthony@ai-im.ai first so we can attempt to resolve a concern informally. Governing-law, venue, arbitration, class-action waiver, and state-specific provisions are intentionally reserved for attorney review.
